New Foreclosure Prevention measures are in the works

Recent reports indicate that President Obama will announce more measures to prevent foreclosures throughout the U.S. The new plan encourages the Federal Housing Administration to insure lenders against part of the losses they'll sustain after reducing the principal balances on borrower's notes. Lenders will be asked to bring the note balance down below the homes current value. When there is a 1st and a 2nd the guidelines will permit no more than a 115% LTV after the note balances are reduced. A new Farmer's Market is slated to start on Monday April 5. It will be held every Monday from 5-9 PM at Marna O'Brien Park. Lake Elsinore – "Spring Swing" is a HIT!

The Lake Elsinore Storm baseball team's pre-season party was a huge success. It was held this year on Saturday March, 20. (The Storm is a Class A feeder team for the San Diego Padres.) The annual event has become a favorite among the area's little league teams. In years past the "Party" was aimed a bit more toward the adult fans but this year marked the beginning of a concerted effort to make the event more family friendly.
